It’s good to be back. Drawing this page, I felt really happy with the lighting in that first panel. Sure, there are plenty of things that I need to work on, but sometimes as you work on something you feel happy with it. That’s a feeling I’ve been missing for a while, so a lot of the work I’ve been doing has been in search of that feeling. Unfortunately, a lot of it doesn’t involve Good Fortunes – but all progress is good progress, no? And of course, I will be sharing all of that progress eventually!

My walls are decorated with pages and art in progress, that way I can see visually where I am on my projects. I’m not sure if it really helps motivate me all that much, but it’s kinda nice to see things slowly disappear or be replaced by new things. Does anyone else have suggestions on self-motivation?
